For the past thirty years, we have been one of Canada's foremost authorities on using National Instrument's LabVIEW to develop custom applications.

We also focus on advanced digital signal processing, with particular emphasis on computer vision and time-domain digital signal analysis.

Since 2010, we have developed the configuration and data analysis software for Ametek Process Instrument's UV Absorbtion Gas Analyzers, and the embedded software for their 292B Gas Chromatograph. Here's our User's Guide for their 99xx series of analyzers.

Airborne Instrumentation

Client: LiDAR Services International
Tools Used: C++, Java, LabVIEW, automated testing

Dr. Heerema developed a suite of software to control the instrumentation used for airborne LIDAR operations. The software controls still and video cameras, fibre optic gyroscopes, differential GPS, and scanning lasers. Developed algorithms for real-time camera positioning, beam coverage analysis, and displays for LIDAR operators.

The software also provides a pilot display that shows the planned mission trajectory and the actual ground coverage for the laser scanner and camera.

A suite of automated tests is used to confirm correct algorithm operations.

The forward camera pod and the instrumentation are controlled by our software.
